Another day...

Well, to update, I took my college test last night (the first of four in my class) and then took my promotion test this morning. I won't find out the results 'til July or so, but at least it's DONE!! Thank God! LOL
So now I can focus on Elaine's parents coming to visit tomorrow, taking leave next week, and oh yeah... starting a new play tomorrow night. Yeahhhh, I'm a glutton for punishment, huh!

Got a new battery today for Rodney's car... my friend Rodney just got back yesterday from doing a year of Tops N' Blue (the Air Force recruitment/entertainment band that goes to every base over a year's time and puts on a free show, it's great!). His battery's been dead for awhile now, but with being TDY, then going to NCOA, then doing shows, and oh yeah, WORKING... it's still been dead. Doh... but I don't have tools to replace the battery.
Yeah, I should turn in my man-card, huh... ;-)

Well, Samson's whining at the door meaning Elaine is about to drive up, so I should help her with the groceries when she pulls up. Ciao for now!

Busy busy!

It's Saturday afternoon and I (Jason) am sitting here on the couch amidst a calm torrent of happenings... let me explain. In two hours E and I have to leave to go perform our 5th show of "The Baker's Wife", which is fun but still time consuming. At the moment E is busy downstairs preparing for her parents' arrival on Tuesday, and I am studying for my WAPS test on Monday morning (the test where I, hopefully, make another stripe!). Meanwhile, I just realized I also have a test due TOMORROW night in my college class, which means I have to listen to 5 more audio class recordings and study that material... after church and our 6th performance tomorrow.
Did I mention a friend of ours comes back tomorrow and I have to work on his car some before then too? :-) Calgon, take me away! (bonus points if you know where that came from!)

I'll go for now, but good thoughts and mucho prayers would be appreciated!! Ciao for now!

Welcome and ponderings...

I sit here on a Saturday morning with my coffee, enjoy the silence of the early hour. It's finally sunny so I will be revamping the yard today before the folks get here Tuesday. Tonight we have a performance of our latest theatrical adventure and I have a sore throat and my 1935 hair that I got done at the salon yesterday took a beating in my sleep last night.. not the best start to the morning, but I shall press on through the day and hope for the best. Here are a few shots of us in action!
